My name is Oreon Wade, a homegrown hairstylist here in Kansas City, Missouri. Bringing my community the best tresses is something I have always put first. When I was younger I was insecure about my hair. It was short and the texture I felt was definitely a problem. Although my insecurities were outgrown, this is where my passion for hair started. For as long as I can remember I would spend countless hours watching my parents do hair in their shop. I would watch and see how happy clients were when they left, and I wanted to be a part of that. My parents were like superheros when it came to getting their clients the finished product. You would see moods change with the snap of a finger! That's when I knew bringing the best tresses, Oreon’s Tresses, to my community was more than just a means to an end. It was my way of adding positivity and effecting change in an already thriving culture.
