My name is Oreon Wade, born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and doing hair has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I struggled with feeling insecure about my own hair — it was short, textured in a way I didn’t understand, and I often felt like it didn’t match the beauty I saw around me. Those insecurities didn’t last forever, but they planted the seed for something bigger.

Growing up in a family of hairstylists, I spent countless hours in the salon watching my parents transform people. I watched their clients sit down one way and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. I saw how hair could completely shift someone’s mood, confidence, and presence. To me, my parents weren’t just hairstylists; they were superheroes. And I wanted to carry that same power.

Oreon’s Tresses was born from that desire to bring premium, confidence-boosting extensions and custom wigs to my community, created with intention, expertise, and love.
